Rate: £ 30 to £ 35 K (full-time (per year)) + excellent benefits

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

LOCATION: Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Worksop, Sheffield

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £30-35,000 bonus 7.5%, final salary pension, life assurance (4 x times salary), flexible benefits packages offering a range of discounts on products and services, gym, highly subsidised restaurant, discounted rail travel

ROLE INFORMATION:
Promote, develop and deliver training and development to meet the company objectives across the business. This will involve travelling to sites and delivering training

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Based on outputs from the performance review process and other company objectives the Learning & Development Manager will design, evaluate, and deliver the company management development programme.

Ensure the maximum utilisation of the HR system Snowdrop Fountain and Fountain Executive Packages to create efficient and effective processes, including the regular provision of management information.

The Learning & Development Specialist will develop and maintain a learning and development directory that provides guidance on developing organisational competencies and key business objectives.

Design, deliver and evaluate and effective corporate induction process.

Annually review each corporate training programme and take action that continuously improves the quality of the training delivered to meet the needs of the business.

Give information, advice and guidance to line managers in response to individual training needs, as identified via the PDP and deliver or source appropriate learning interventions.

With the agreement of the Head of Organisational Development provide professional coaching support to the individuals as identified in their PDP and report on the programme outcomes.

The Learning & Development Manager will provide professional group facilitation as agreed with the Head of Organisational Development.

Provide Data and Report/Statistics as requested.

In conjunction with HR management colleagues develop and maintain a high quality intranet and internet presence.

Actively support your HR management colleagues in developing and running an efficient and effective personnel and training team.

ESSENTIAL:
At least 4 years experience in a similar position managing designing and delivering a wide range of learning and development
Working within comparable skill levels within management and delivery of supervisory and management training

Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Range of training delivery methods including self-directed learning and facilitation
Managing several projects simultaneously
3rd party contract management
Influencing skills
It skills including word and excel
Presentation skills to include formal training delivery
